Gordon Ramsay Saws His Daughter Tilly in Half for Magic Trick on MasterChef Junior — Watch!

Gordon Ramsay cooks up some magic in the latest episode MasterChef Junior.

PEOPLE has an exclusive first look at next week’s episode of the FOX cooking competition. Ramsay was seen shocking and delighting the young contestants with a magic trick involving his daughter Matilda “Tilly” Ramsay.

In the episode “Magic Castle,” which airs Monday, March 25, Gordon is dressed in a tuxedo and standing on stage. He welcomes the eight chefs into the theater, each dressed in formal attire.

“You look great, by the way,” Gordon tells the kids as they sit down.

“I’ve got a big trick up my sleeve,” he says as the curtains open to reveal Tilly, 22, in a box with only her head and feet sticking out.

“Hello, Tilly!” father six jokes, pinching her cheeks as he playfully shouts, “Stop it!”

“Tilly!” – shouted one contestant with a hint of panic in her voice.

“Cut! I don’t think this is a good idea, Dad,” he said MasterChef Junior summons the novice.

The contestants, all between the ages of 8 and 13, laugh at the father-daughter antics on stage.

Gordon begins, “You know I’m an expert at slicing and dicing—”

“Not your daughter!” Tilly interrupts him.

The young chefs all breathe a sigh of relief, some ask “What?” and others raising their hands to their mouths.

“Children, do you know what time it is?” – Gordon asks the contestants who shake their heads. “It’s half time!”

“Dad, Mom will hear about this,” warns Tilly.

All the children exclaim as each blade is placed in the box. After the cookbook author runs out of blades, he separates the two halves of the box, showing the shocked contestants that Tilly has been cut in half.

“Stop it, Dad,” Tilly says.

“I already did!” Gordon responds, pushing his daughter’s top half off the stage.

Tilly joined the 9th season MasterChef Junior as And is refereeing full-time for the first time, working alongside returning judges Aarón Sánchez and Daphne Oz.

“We would travel home together,” Tilly told PEOPLE of working with her dad. “The car journeys home in the evening were nice. We would just talk about everything about the day. It’s just so nice to work with him, to spend that time together.”

She added: “I grew up watching him go to work in the morning and come home in the afternoon and I’d always say, ‘Oh, what did they cook today? What did you try? How was this? How was that?’ So now it’s really great to do that with him and live those stories that he told me and get to know the kids the way he gets to experience it.”
