In July 2022, Faima Shiek’s co-star Praveen proposed to her on the show Sridevi Drama Company. In an emotional speech, Praveen explained why he loved Farma, saying “because she achieved what she wanted.” Praveen tells how Faima fulfilled her mother’s dream of buying her own house.

Profession
Born into a humble family, Fama initially engaged in various odd jobs, such as working in farm fields, hospitals, tailoring, making beedis, etc., to make ends meet. In 2019, she gained recognition through the ETV Plus Telugu comedy show Pataas 2 hosted by Sreemukhi and Ravi, in which she acted with her partner Praveen.

Later, she played the lead role in the show Pove Pora hosted by Vishnupriya Bheemineni and Sudigaali Sudheer. She came into limelight with her appearance in ETV’s Telugu show Jabardast and its extended version Extra Jabardasth. On the show, various stand-up comedians showcase their skills by performing comedy sketches, antics, and entertaining skits. In the show, she was first a part of Avinash’s skit. Later, when Avinash entered the show Bigg Boss Telugu in 2020, Faima became an important part of the sketches of comedians Jeevan and Bhaskar in the show. Her on-screen chemistry with Emmanuel and others in the series was greatly appreciated.

Thereafter, she gained popularity for appearing in ETV’s Sridevi Drama Company and performing with Praveen.
