Gordon Ramsay faces his “toughest guest!”
The British chef, 57, hosted the opening of his restaurant Gordon Ramsay Pub and Grill at The Londoner Macao on China’s south coast on Wednesday – only to come face-to-face with an unruly bulldog called Tomato on the red carpet.
In a video shared on Ramsay’s Instagram story on Thursday, the star was filmed telling the dog (who was wearing a Union Jack collar) to “sit”, as the dog tried to stand up.
“Have a nice seat,” Ramsay said again when the dog finally obeyed and sat down before looking up at the caterer.

Once the dog was under control, Ramsay held the leash while he adjusted the collar to pose for pictures on the red carpet.
“Toughest guest on #gordonramsaypubandgrill last night,” his caption read as he sported a white chef’s jacket and black trousers.

“Feeling at home,” Ramsay added in his next caption as he posed in front of the Londoner Macao replica of London’s Big Ben.
The TV star then thanked friend David Beckham for letting him stay in “his suite”.
“This is beautiful,” Ramsay said from behind the camera as he filmed the interior decoration of his room. “What a place.”

Beckham, 48, who is the global ambassador for Sands Resorts Macao, created Suites by David Beckham at Londoner Macao with London-based interior design firm David Collins Studio.
“Hello friend, welcome home! Enjoy my apartment. Sorry for staring at you on the toilet my love David,” the Inter Miami owner wrote on Ramsay’s Instagram.
In the video of the excellently decorated apartment, the camera recorded the hallway, a large bedroom, a bathroom, two living rooms and a dining room.

“This place is beautiful. A picture of DB, VB,” Ramsay said while referring to pictures of Beckham and Victoria Beckham on the wall. “David, you’ve seriously outdone yourself.”
Entering the bathroom, Ramsay then took a picture of the toilet which was next to a picture of Beckham wearing his number 32 football shirt from his time at Paris Saint-Germain.
Ramsay also shared a column on Instagram capturing various moments from his event at the Gordon Ramsay Pub and Grill. “Macao! What an amazing few days opening #GordonRamsayPubandGrill at @the_londoner_macao!,” read his caption. “And a special thanks to Tomato (bulldog) for keeping the red carpet clean 🐶.”
