Gori Nagorii is an Indian dancer, famous in India as Rajasthani and Haryanvi Shakira. She is one of the contestants in the Indian reality show Bigg Boss Season 16 in October 2022. The show airs on the Colors channel.

Gori Nagori was born Taslima Bano on Thursday, June 11, 1998, in Nagaur, Rajasthan, India (age 24; as of 2022). Her real name is Gori Malik. Her zodiac sign is Gemini. She completed her school education from Gautiya High School, Nagaur, Rajasthan. Later, she pursued postgraduate studies at Jai Narayan Vyas University in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. According to Mingxiang Geli, she has loved dancing since she was a child and practiced dancing while watching TV. In an interview with the media, she revealed that her family opposed her decision to become a dancer and often scolded and abused her, even locking her in her room so that she could not learn to dance. She added in the same discussion that people around her started telling her that her dancing was vulgar and revealed her bad character. She recalled,
My family was firmly against me dancing, and even people around me told me that dancing was vulgar and revealed my bad character. However, I never took any criticism seriously and continued with my plan. I started doing small gigs and it quickly turned into big gigs. I’ve always been against the perception people have of performers. “
While studying in the eighth grade, she participated in the school’s cultural program, in which her father also participated. She won the dance competition and her teachers praised her performance. From then on, her father began to support her, however, her mother did not like her dancing. However, she continued practicing her dance moves at home and began performing many popular Rajasthani and Haryanvi songs in local dance shows. Gradually, she gained great popularity in both states.

On September 22, 2018, Gori Nagori danced to the popular Rajasthani song “Le Photo Le” sung by Rajasthani singer Nilu Rangili. Shortly after the song was released, the song’s video received over 120 million views within a week. Later, Gori Nagori appeared in many famous Rajasthani and Haryanvi songs including Mahre Gaam Ka Pani (2021), Teri Meri Baat Bigad Jayegi (2021), Balma (2021), Saint (2020), Ganderi (2020 ), Chuni Gotedaar (2022) and Rahariyo (2022).
Gori Nagori is known for her daring dance routines in her shows. In 2017, the University of Rajasthan Students’ Union invited Gori Nagori as a guest dancer at the inaugural event. Mahant of Salasar Dham and parents of the students attended the event held at the college. At the end of the show, Goti Nagori performed a bold dance performance in the show, which made the parents and Mahant bow their heads in shame.
In 2019, her song “Ghagharo” reached 16 million views on YouTube in one day. She broke the previous world record set by Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh. In 2022, Gori Nagori participated in the 16th season of the Indian reality show “Bigg Boss” as a contestant. She was spotted wearing a hijab in the Bigg Boss house.

- After her father passed away in 2010, she fell into depression and stopped dancing.
- According to Naguori Goli, when she was a child, she was influenced by the Colombian dancer Shakira, and she often watched Shakira’s songs and dance moves on TV.
