Guntur Kaaram is an Indian action drama in the Telugu language written and directed by Trivikram Srinivas. This film is produced by S. Radha Krishna through Haarika & Hassine Creations.

This movie features Mahesh Babu, Sreleela, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Ramya Krishna, Jayaram, Prakash Raj and Jagapathi Babu. The cinematographer of this film is Manoj Paramahamsa and PS Vinod. Edited by Naveen Nooli. Music is by Thaman S.

Guntur Kaaram movie released on January 12, 2024 in India in Telugu and Hindi. The film lasts 159 minutes. The budget of the film is 200 million rupees.

The story of the movie is that Mahesh Babu’s role as Ramana has a Mirchi manufacturing factory who lives in Guntur with his father. Ramana’s mother Vasundhara left his father Satyam when Ramana was young and his mother married another person Narayana.

When Ramana is called by his mother’s father to sign a document stating that Ramana is no longer the child of Ramya Krishna’s character Satyam, but Ramana raises an issue with this. He thinks why his mother left his father.

Ramana’s father files Pana’s case, a fake FIR against Ramana for violence in his house, but Balu’s character opposes Pana’s case and gets an order to release Ramana on bail. Vasundhara wants to take Ramana with her to her father’s house, but his father’s sister closes the door to her house.

Vasundhara’s other son Narayana sends his men to kill Ramana and elsewhere Ramana’s mother is hit by a truck and Vasundhara’s father tells Ramana to kill Hari Das saying that he is trying to kill his mother.

During the process, Vasundhara’s father reveals that he was the person who orchestrated the attack on Ramana’s father’s factory in 1998 to bring his daughter Vasundhara home as he lost the election due to his daughter’s marriage to Satyam.

When Ramana goes to Hari Das, Hari says that he never planned the murder with Kata. He also reveals that Venkata (Vasundhara’s father) orchestrated everything.

When Ramana learns the truth about Gopal Reddy not being Vasundhara’s son, he becomes furious with Venkata Swamy, but his mother convinces him to stop. They both go to Guntur where they meet Ramana, his mother and father again.

The film received negative reviews for the director’s direction, screenplay, plot and background score of the music director, but Mahesh Babu’s performance was praised. This film became the highest grossing Indian film of 2024 and the highest grossing Telugu film of 2024. This record shows that this film was a hit.

The total worldwide box office for Guntura Kaaram movie has reached 212 crore rupees so far.
