- The head of the Radha Soami Satsang Beas (RSSB), Punjab, is an Indian spiritual person named Baba Gurinder Singh Dhillon. After Maharaj Charan Singh Ji, the previous spiritual leader of the RSSB sect, passed away in 1990, he was appointed as the new spiritual leader. One of the followers of Shiv Dayal Singh Seth (Swami Ji Maharaj), Baba Jaimal Singh Ji, was born in 1891. In Punjab, an Indian state in the north, Maharaj founded the RSSB sect along the river Beas. The name of this group was “Dera Baba Jaimal Singh.”
- Baba Gurinder Singh Dhillon adheres to the same spiritual philosophies of Swamiji Maharaj and the previous gurus of the RSSB sect. These beliefs and religions emphasize the inner journey of the soul during mindful meditation and sitting under the guidance of a living teacher. It is believed that the fundamental meaning of life is to experience God’s divinity within the limits of the human body. The term Radha Swami is made up of two different words, so it is believed. Surah Shabd, chanting the five holy names while sitting in meditation and focusing between two closed eyelids, is the only practice to follow.
