Food Network maintains its tradition of combining Hollywood with culinary. Guy’s Ultimate Game Night, the network’s next cooking program, will premiere on August 31 at 9:00 PM ET. The program is hosted by Guy Fieri, a chef and restaurateur who is collaborating with the network for the sixth time. The new program will include talk shows, food games and Hollywood personalities. Viewers will watch celebrities from many disciplines compete in a culinary competition, which they must win in order to win a large cash prize to donate to a charity of their choice.
According to the official synopsis of the show:
“Celebrity contestants compete in front of a live studio audience for the chance to win prizes for their favorite charity in the new game show, which puts a culinary twist on traditional parties. Chef Antonia Lofaso oversees the entire competition, as celebrities interact with food in a hands-on challenge and put their culinary skills to the test with quizzes and riddles. They have to be on their guard because they never know what Guy might throw at them. Let the fun begin!”

More about Guy’s Ultimate Game Night
Guy asked some of his close Hollywood friends and acquaintances to compete in his culinary game at the next culinary event. Celebrities will participate in fun culinary-themed games, word puzzles and quizzes. Specifically, the games will feature jobs like decorating a pizza to look like Fieri, blind decorating a cake, and an experimental “Cooktionary,” which will be a food-themed version of Pictionary.
Games to be played on the program include Hot Potato, Charade the Pantry, Cloche Encounters and Shop ‘Til You Drop. Additionally, in a press release, Jane Latman, President, Home & Food Content and Streaming, Warner Bros. Discovery, gave her opinion on the new cooking show. She stated:
“Guy’s Ultimate Game Night is unlike any other cooking game. Audiences will enjoy playing at home, trying to guess the answers and learning new culinary facts.”
She continued:
“We can attend the party and enjoy fun games hosted by Guy Fieri, the game master himself.”
The fire, however, will be helped by chef Antonio Lofaso, who has already participated in culinary series such as Top Chef, Chopped and Cutthroat Kitchen.
