Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin Come Together for Daughter Apple’s Society Debut: See the Family Photos

Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin come together to celebrate their daughter.

The proud parents, who divorced in 2015, spent time together in Paris earlier this week as their 20-year-old daughter Apple Martin made her company debut at Le Bal des Débutantes on Saturday, November 30.

On Sunday, December 1, Paltrow (52) shared a carousel of photos and clips from her weekend in the French capital via Instagram, some of which include her ex-husband (47).

“A special long weekend in Paris,” the actress captioned the post.

The first visual in the celebratory announcement was a video of the actress’ cloudy look from the plane while she was flying abroad. She then shared a mirror selfie of herself and her daughter, who wore an elaborate custom-made Valentine’s dress, who Vogue it took Valentino creative director Alessandro Michele 750 hours to create the report.

In the photo, Paltrow posed with her daughter in a long, simple black ensemble with a belt at the waist and gold jewelry.

The third slide showed a video of Martin and their son Moses, 18, sitting on a bench outside with their backs to the camera.

The sweet photo was accompanied by a family picture of Paltrow, her mother Blythe Danner and Moses in a white room with artwork hanging behind them.

Paltrow continued the carousel with another family photo, including the Coldplay frontman, at the festive event. The Iron Man For the occasion, the alum wore a shimmering sheer black dress from Valentino’s Spring 2025 collection. The dress featured ruffle detailing, mostly along the neckline, sleeves and skirt.

Martin and Moses also dressed up in simple Valentino tuxedos for the occasion. The “Fix You” singer wore his with a bow tie and a ‘love’ pin, while Moses sported a blazer with an exaggerated lapel. Meanwhile, Danner, 81, wore a long gray skirt with a textured white blazer and a pearl necklace.

The carousel ended with pictures of Danner at a table with model Boris Kodjoe and designer David Netto, and a photo of Paltrow and Apple embracing at the debut event.

Le Bal is inducting around 20 women aged 16 to 22 — with Lily Collins and Margaret Qualley among the women who have debuted in recent years.

Apple is the first participant to ever wear Michele’s custom dress.

Gwyneth celebrated her daughter’s milestone on Saturday, November 30, by sharing multiple photos of Apple in her dress on her Instagram Stories.

“My beautiful daughter at @maisonvalentino,” she wrote.

Last year, Paltrow opened up to PEOPLE in an exclusive interview about raising her children with Martin following their 2014 split — during which they announced they had “consciously uncoupled.”

She said of Martin at the time, “He has this sweet kid spirit and I love that he’ll say, ‘Let’s go jump in the ocean’ when it’s 58 degrees,’ or ‘Let’s go to this weird guitar store.’ He always wants to do these fun adventures with them and activities.”

Paltrow also admired how the English singer “has a real sweetness. And so he conveys that in the way he raises them… He’s kind of gone, he’s often on the road, but he brings—it’s almost like he comes and sprinkles fairy dust .”
