Gwyneth Paltrow Calls Husband Brad Falchuk Her ‘Best Friend’: He’s ‘So Patient’ and ‘Open-Minded’

Gwyneth Paltrow has found a “great partner” in husband Brad Falchuk.

The actress met Falchuk on the set joy (she won an Emmy for her guest role as Holly Holiday on the Falchuk-created series) and married in 2018.

In an interview with StarePaltrow, 51, explained how being with Falchuk gave her newfound confidence.

“I love my husband so much, so it really changed things for me,” she said when asked if she now felt free from the male gaze. – That’s probably why I don’t enter the room the way I used to.

She added: “I feel really lucky. He’s a great guy and my best friend.”

Paltrow described Falchuk, 52, as “so patient” and “so non-judgmental and open-minded.”

“I can think about anything. The other day I just thought, ‘Am I being dishonest here because I did this to spare someone’s feelings…?’ He’s just a great partner,” she said.

Falchuk, who is no longer active on social media, posted an Instagram tribute to Paltrow on her birthday in 2021, calling her “beautiful” and “funny.”

“When you live with this woman, several things become clear,” he wrote at the time. “There are the obvious things – that she’s beautiful, that she’s funny, that she likes things the way she likes, when she likes. That she’s always busy – but she also always has time for you.”

“But the two things that really stand out are that she notices. And she acts,” Falchuk continued.

“Many people notice without acting. They notice. Then they complain, gossip or shrug. And many people act without noticing. Sometimes it’s useful, but it’s a dangerous way to act. Because usually just acting for yourself. But Gwyneth notices and acts.”

After listing several ways she “notices and acts” in their daily lives, Falchuk added, “I could go on and on. Really. Today is Gwyneth’s birthday. So today we notice her like she notices us every day. And we celebrate her because if anyone deserves to be celebrated, it’s you, Gwyneth.”
