Both programs received mixed reviews from viewers and critics. However, the feedback has not dampened the continued success of the lifestyle brand.

“I think the key was authenticity and vulnerability. Like learning as we went, but really staying true to our core values and mission to offer women a curated selection of amazing content, travel, products [and] clothing,” she says of Goop’s success. “We want to inspire and we want to move the culture forward. We want to spark interesting conversations and I think we’re staying true to that.”

“I can only speak for myself, it builds into this break so when I’m consistent in my meditation, I’m less reactive. I’m more connected to the oneness of the world and I just think I’m a better person,” she explains.

“What I love about this [app] I think a lot of people ask, ‘How do you meditate? I do not have time.’ And with [the] eyes-open [technique], you can literally do it anytime,” she adds. “It still brings you to that place. It’s a really powerful tool.”
