Gwyneth Paltrow Shares Her Summer Photo Dump, Starring Kids Apple and Moses and Famous Friends

Summer has come and gone, but Gwyneth Paltrow made memories that will live on.

On Monday, Sept. 2, the Goop founder, 51, marked Labor Day by sharing a recap of her summer with family and friends.

“We had a good summer,” she wrote on Instagram Reels.

The video, set to father John Misty’s “Real Love Baby,” shows Paltrow flying, swimming, paddleboarding, trying foods and admiring art with loved ones. Family cameos included her husband, American Horror Story co-creator Brad Falchuk, as well as her two children, Apple Martin, 20, and Moses Martin, 18 — who she shares with ex-husband Chris Martin.

Chris appears in a montage with Moses sitting on his lap. Paltrow’s friends Rashida Jones and Reese Witherspoon have cameo roles, among others.

Last summer, Paltrow took time for her loved ones.

At the end of July, Iron Man star had a bachelorette party with Witherspoon, 48, and Cameron Diaz, 52, to celebrate the four-year anniversary of Diaz’s Avaline wine company. The girls gathered for the special occasion at a private residence in East Hampton, New York.

“My girls💕,” Paltrow added to an Instagram Stories repost of the crowd that was shared from Avaline’s account.

“We celebrated four years of Avaline in the Hamptons with a few of our close friends and what a beautiful night it was.✨,” read the caption for a joint Instagram post shared by Diaz and Avaline on July 30. “We drank wine, and we enjoyed a candlelit dinner together – while the sun was setting.”

Earlier that month, Paltrow was also in attendance to see her good friend Kate Hudson perform live at the Surf Lodge in Montauk.

“Gwyneth Paltrow came to support her friend, along with her husband Brad Falchuk,” a source told PEOPLE at the time.

The Shallow Hal the star also soaked up the last bits of summer with her kids.

On August 23, Paltrow did an Instagram Stories Q&A with fans, during which the actress was asked how she’s dealing with becoming an empty nester now that her youngest has entered college.

“Have you dropped both kids off at college yet?” the person asked Paltrow. “I’m doing it, it’s not good for me.”

While recording a video response, the star replied: “Not yet.”

Seconds later, Moses appeared in the video, adding a response. “She didn’t quite get rid of me,” he joked.

In March, Paltrow said The Sunday Times about her son going to college after daughter Apple went to college for the first time two years ago.

While admitting she feels “incredible sadness” as her children begin a new chapter, she added: “It’s exactly what’s supposed to happen.”
