Gwyneth Paltrow Shares Sweet Photo with Jennifer Aniston, Says She’s ‘So Lucky’ for Their Friendship

Gwyneth Paltrow considers herself lucky to call Jennifer Aniston her friend.

While Paltrow, 51, was answering questions from her followers on Thursday via Instagram Story, the actress and Goop founder was asked, “Are you and Jennifer Aniston friends?”

“Yeah, I’m so lucky,” Paltrow replied, sharing a photo of her and Aniston, 54, hugging as Aniston kisses her on the cheek.

Aniston was among the celebrity guests at Paltrow’s 2018 engagement party with her now-husband Brad Falchuk.

Both were previously in a relationship with Brad Pitt. Pitt, now 59, and Paltrow dated from 1994 to 1997, and Aniston was married to the actor from 2000 until they divorced in 2005.

Paltrow, who married Falchuk in 2018, touched on a number of topics in her Instagram Story Q&A session, from advice on building a romantic relationship with a Pisces like Falchuk, 52, to her best parenting tips.

Paltrow also took issue with her friendship with Dakota Johnson, who is dating Paltrow’s ex-husband Chris Martin.

“We’re actually really good friends,” Paltrow said, adding, “I love her so much. She’s such a sweet, wonderful person.”

Johnson began dating Martin, 46, in 2017 after the Coldplay singer and Paltrow — who “consciously separated” in 2014 — divorced in 2016.

Paltrow and Martin have two children, Apple (19) and Moses (17), and she is stepmother to Falchuk’s daughter Isabella (19) and son Brody (17).

In Paltrow’s previous Instagram Q&A in August, she admitted that bringing her family together with Falchuk’s was a challenging task at first.

“You know, there’s no book about this; nobody’s telling us what to do. And really, all the media out there around being a stepmom casts us in this evil, evil light,” Paltrow said at the time. “So it’s kind of like trying to avoid landmines. And then you go into a family dynamic. And there’s all kinds of fear around losing and what does that person mean?”

“But as for me, the moment I decided and fully embodied the idea that my stepchildren are my children and that I love them equally and I gave them the same rules and boundaries, and kind of wholeheartedly went after it, then the whole thing became easier “, she added. “And now it’s pretty great.”
