Gypsy Rose Blanchard takes in the sights during her “first time” in New York!

On Saturday, the 32-year-old took to Instagram to share that she was a “total tourist” as she and her husband Ryan Scott Anderson visited several popular spots in New York City.

“In beautiful Central Park in NYC,” Blanchard captioned one photo of herself sitting on the edge of the Bethesda Fountain in Central Park.

Blanchard also shared videos of herself walking around Times Square and sitting in balcony seats with Anderson, 37, as they waited to watch Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on Broadway.

“Hello everyone! So we’re in Times Square. Look at this… isn’t this epic?” Blanchard said in the first clip. “Oh my god, I’m so enjoying my time right now. We just walk around Times Square and do a little shopping.”

“I just bought an ‘I love New York’ T-shirt, which was on my bucket list, so that was pretty great,” she added.

“We want a real wedding at some point,” he told PEOPLE. He and Gypsy first connected in 2020, when Anderson began writing to his now-wife in prison. The pair began exchanging emails and eventually met in June 2021.

The following year, the couple married in a small ceremony at the prison, without guests present.

“Gypsy deserves a white dress moment. I know every woman deserves that. And Gypsy already has a style of dress that she wants. And that kind of shocked me,” Anderson said, before revealing that he only recently discovered his wife has a “specific” dress in mind.

“Someone asked her that question the other day, and I was like, ‘Wow, that was specific,’ and she had it ready. So I want to give her that moment,” he explained.
