HACKERS say they have launched a massive cyber attack on the UK in response to airstrikes in Yemen.
Anonymous Sudan said the attack on the internet company on Friday was also because Britain had shown “support” for Israel.

In a statement on the Telegram messaging platform, the group warned: “A major attack on the UK is imminent, in response to airstrikes in Yemen and unconditional support for the genocidal Zionist regime in Israel.”
Less than an hour later, they claimed to have attacked the London Internet Exchange (LINX).
The company, which has offices in London and Peterborough, is one of the world’s largest Internet exchange points.
It works by increasing the speed and reliability of Internet service providers and enabling direct interconnection between different networks.

Anonymous Sudan – a grassroots hacktivist group – claims to target countries and organizations engaged in “anti-Muslim activities”.
Their attack came as the US and UK launched airstrikes against Houthi military targets in nearly 30 locations across Yemen on Thursday.
British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak gave the go-ahead for military action at an emergency cabinet meeting on Thursday night after weeks of Houthi attacks on ships in the Red Sea.
Five militants were killed as more than 150 precision-guided munitions, launched by fighter jets and warships, targeted 60 military targets including an air base, an airport and a military camp.
US officials said they fired more than 80 Tomahawk cruise missiles from three destroyers and a submarine, while 22 jets took part from the USS Eisenhower aircraft carrier.
In April 2023, Anonymous Sudan attacked websites linked to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Mossad, the Jewish state’s intelligence agency.
The African-based cybercriminals are also said to have collaborated with pro-Russian attack groups such as Killnet.
In June 2023, the groups threatened to attack critical banking infrastructure in light of the war in Ukraine.
The Sudanese group has nothing to do with the infamous Guy Fawkes-wearing Anonymous.
