Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen Make First Public Appearance Together at NHL Game

Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen celebrate the start of the NHL season!

The actress, 26, and the Buffalo Bills quarterback, 27, attended the game between the Buffalo Sabers and the New York Rangers on Thursday night at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York.

Steinfeld and Allen were burst into the stands in what looked like an apartment while they watched the season opener, which the Rangers won 5-1.

The appearance marked Steinfeld and Allen’s first public appearance together, after they were first romantically linked last spring.

Allen and Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse The stars were first linked in May 2023, shortly after rumors swirled that the athlete had split from his longtime girlfriend, Brittany Williams.

According to a source close to the actress, it was officially confirmed later that month that Steinfeld and Allen were in a relationship. An insider told PEOPLE that the two have been “hanging out for a few weeks” and are a “cute couple.”

“It’s new, but they’re having fun,” the source added.

Although the couple didn’t confirm their relationship at the time — and haven’t since — they were spotted going on multiple dates, and Steinfeld was even seen spending time with Allen’s mother.

Allen paid attention to their relationship during a guest appearance on Pardon My Take podcast in August, when asked if he’s seen headlines about him “making out with his girlfriend” since they started spending time together.

“The fact that anyone cares about that still blows my mind,” the football star replied.

He then condemned the lengths to which some photographers went to capture a photo of him and the others falcon’s eye actress.

Allen recalled a specific instance where he saw a photographer “on the boat” trying to take a picture of the couple, saying it was a “disgusting feeling” and created a sense of “insecurity” for him and Steinfeld.

While neither Allen nor Steinfeld have publicly confirmed their relationship status, the NFL player didn’t mind the podcast hosts calling her his girlfriend during the conversation.
