The hairstylist of the stars Chris Appleton and his daughter chose the iconic costume for Halloween this year!
On Friday, October 25, Chris, 41, and Kitty-blu Appleton, 19, attended the Alix Earle Halloween party in a father-daughter costume inspired by bug juicewith Chris channeling Michael Keaton as the main villain, and Kitty-blu getting involved with Winone Ryder’s Lydia Deetz — with a twist.
For Alice in Wonderland-inspired by a gathering at the Keys nightclub in Los Angeles, the couple specifically modeled their look after one of the iconic wedding scenes from the 1988 film.
Both were red, with Chris in a maroon tuxedo, bow tie and ruffled undershirt, and Kitty in blue in Deetz’s iconic tulle dress and veil. She accessorized with a black bridal bouquet, while her dad held one of the most iconic movie props, Handbook for the recently deceased.
The hairstylist went all out for Keaton’s Beetlejuice glam — from his pale, moss-covered skin to his violet eyes — and his hair, rocking some wispy, white locks in a gravity-defying style.
Meanwhile, his daughter — who he shares with ex-partner Katie Katon — sported a simpler glam style, letting Deetz’s iconic spiky bangs steal the spotlight.
Later that evening, Kitty-blu sheds what looked like a screen dress to reveal Deetz’s wedding outfit.
Photos from Earle’s party show the 19-year-old still wearing the character’s veil, ruffled top and gloves, but this time without the long tiered skirt. Instead, she replaced it with a lingerie-inspired look, which she paired with red fishnet leggings and matching over-the-knee boots.

Chris Appleton’s Two Children: All About Billy and Kitty-Blue
Chris shared several photos of the father-daughter duo bug juice take a look – before Kitty-blu swapped her wardrobe for a sexier version – on Instagram, showing the intricate combinations from several angles.
Also in the post, the hairstylist included a photo of himself posing with his son, Billy Appleton, who had similar makeup to the Joker.
“Beetlejuice Beetlejuice …. It’s time to perform, I’ve been wanting to do this for so long,” Chris wrote in the description. “Thanks Kitty for being Lydia – we had the best night. I love Halloween 👻.”

Chris shares both Billy and Kitty-blu with ex Katon, whom he greeted before discovering he was gay at 26. Talking to Gay Times In 2019, the hairdresser said: “Some people know right away, I don’t and it took me a minute to realize and accept it and then walk out.”
“It was also really important to me that the kids were comfortable before I expressed it. That they understood and were in a good place,” he continued. “It was just time. Everyone has their own story, and mine was later.”

Kitty-blu — who is a model and works for SKKN by Kim — will turn 20 on November 3. Celebrating her 18th birthday in 2022, Chris shared a photo of the father-daughter duo on Instagram and wrote: “Happy 18th birthday Kitty-Blu 🧁.”
“I’ve watched you grow from a baby to a beautiful young woman and I couldn’t be more proud of you than I am today,” he continued. “I love you 💖.”
