Joe Jonas Seemingly Addresses Sophie Turner Divorce During L.A. Concert: ‘It’s Been a Crazy Week’

Joe Jonas appeared to address his divorce from Sophie Turner during an emotional moment on stage at the last Jonas Brothers concert.

On Saturday night, Joe, 34, was joined by brothers Nick and Kevin Jonas for their band’s performance at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles.

Right before singing the group’s song “Hesitate” from their 2019 album Happiness beginswho was inspired by Turner, 27, an emotional Jonas told the crowd in front of him, “It’s been a crazy week,” prompting cheers from fans.

“I’m just saying, if you don’t hear it from these lips, don’t believe it. Okay?” continued the musician — who was not wearing a wedding ring. “Thank you all for your love and support for me and my family. I love you.”

During other moments from the performance, Jonas dedicated the Jonas Brothers’ 2023 song “Little Bird” to a pregnant fan, and also dedicated the band’s 2007 hit ballad “When You Look Me In The Eyes” to the pair, who held a sign that read They Danced with a tune at your wedding.

In another moment of the concert, Nick, 30, gave his older brother a sweet hug during their performance of 2019’s “Rollercoaster.”

Jonas’ comments during the touching moment follow news that he filed for divorce from Turner after four years of marriage earlier this month.

PEOPLE initially confirmed that the singer had hired a divorce attorney, before Jonas filed for divorce from Game of Thrones star in Miami a few days later.

The filing claimed that “the marriage between the parties has been irretrievably dissolved.” The former couple, who first met in 2016, have a prenuptial agreement, according to the divorce filing.

Jonas and Turner married in 2019 after almost three years of dating and have two children together: a daughter, Willa, 3, and a second daughter, 14 months.

The estranged couple spoke about their split for the first time last week, releasing a joint statement on social media.

“A statement from the two of us: ‘After four wonderful years of marriage, we have mutually decided to end our marriage amicably,'” Jonas and Turner shared on Instagram.

“There are many speculative stories as to why, but this is truly a mutual decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children,” the statement concluded.
