Halle Bailey reflects on her first reaction when she found out her 9-month-old son, Halo, was featured on Kai Cenata’s livestream without her knowledge.
On a Wednesday, Nov. 6 stream of Cenat’s “Mafiathon 2” Twitch stream, Bailey’s ex-boyfriend DDG, 27, brought their son Halo to the screen, which Cenat, 22, later posted on his YouTube page. The The little mermaid The star then shared on X (formerly Twitter) that her child’s unexpected appearance left her “extremely upset.”
The next day, Thursday, November 7, the actress wrote on X: “Yesterday maybe I overdid it and shouldn’t have brought it here. I know that halo is always safe with her daddy.”
She went on to explain where her initial emotions came from. “I just don’t like to share with the rest of the world what my baby is doing,” she said, adding: “Thanks u kai for the hello gifts.”

A DDG representative did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment on Wednesday.
Just a few weeks ago, the “Angel” singer revealed that she gets “terrible anxiety” when commuting without Halo. Bailey shared several photos on her Snapchat on October 15. “I’m flying out tonight to be somewhere for a day, but I’m terribly anxious without my son,” she wrote.
“Advice for moms who still can’t handle having to go to work?” Bailey asked.
Bailey and DDG welcomed Halo in December 2023 and split in early October.
