Lindsie Chrisley Says 'a Complete Weight Lifted Off' After Closing on the Sale of Her Home

Lindsie Chrisley says her last goodbye to the home where she lived her “trials”.

During the Thursday, November 7 episode of her podcast Convos with coffee with co-host Kailyn Lowry, Chrisley, 35, opened up about the process of closing on the sale of her home and the emotional ties she has to it.

Chrisley, whose parents are Todd Chrisley and his ex-wife Teresa Terry, took Lowry through her “life update” and addressed her divorce from ex-husband Will Campbell in 2021. The exes have an 11-year-old son named Jackson.

“Yesterday I went to the closing of my house,” she explained. “And a song that I listened to a lot during my divorce is a song called ‘Let That Pony Run.’ It’s like an old country song.”

“I walk into the office that is closing and it immediately appears.” Lindsie continued. “And I’m just sitting in my car crying, and like I can’t get into this office that’s closing. Like they’re going to think I’m an absolute psychopath.”

After Lindsie and Campbell announced they were separating in July 2021, Chrisley knows best The alum documented her move to her new home in Canton, Ga., with her son in August of that year.

During the podcast episode, she noted that the home is where she “cried over my divorce” and how “my parents were judged while I lived there,” referring to how her father is currently in prison after he and wife Julie Chrisley accused of 12 counts of tax evasion, fraud and conspiracy.

Lindsie Chrisley says she has learned over the years that ‘your family is the one you choose’ amid constant estrangement

Earlier in the episode, Lindsie explained that the actual process of closing the sale was “quick and easy” and that all she had to do was sign “maybe 15 pages, and it was over.”

She continued, “But I feel like a whole weight has been lifted off my shoulders, and yesterday I spent time here with some of my best friends.”

When Lowry asks Lindsie how she feels about saying goodbye to her old home, the former reality TV star says her attempt to distract herself didn’t work out as well as she thought.

“When I woke up this morning, it was like I realized the reality of the situation. And I should be so happy. It’s like I’m fine, when the funds land in my account, that should excite me. But now I’m like I can never go back there.”

Lowry then offered some advice to her co-host as she navigates this life change.

“It’s such a bittersweet feeling because when we originally talked about it, you said that you really went through some tough times in that house, but you also had really good memories in that house,” she said.
