Halle Bailey and boyfriend DDG make one stylish couple!

Little Mermaid star, 23, and her musician beau, 26, stepped out in matching looks at this year’s Glamor Women of the Year Awards in London on Tuesday.

Bailey wore a NICOLE + FELICIA strapless black velvet mini dress embellished with 3-D white roses along the hemline.

She completed the expensive look with a necklace with a diamond collar and dangling earrings. For the glamorous occasion, she styled her hair in a high ponytail and added a bold red lip for a pop of colour.

Meanwhile, DDG (whose real name is Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr.) opted for an all-black suit with a large diamond cross necklace for a hint of sparkle.

The couple have been together for over a year after going Instagram official in March 2022 when the rapper posted a birthday tribute to artist Chloe x Halle.

Last month, Bailey revealed how “love” was a “really big” source of inspiration for her upcoming debut solo album, which is due out before the end of this year.

“All musical inspiration really just comes from life experiences,” said the R&B singer Cosmopolitan in the cover for September. “The love was really big for me too, because it’s something I’m experiencing for the first time, and it’s like ‘wow’ in your brain. It’s just fireworks, a spark for creativity.”

“This was a really beautiful, transformative time for me. I have all this new material to write about,” Bailey said. “It’s like, ‘What the hell did I just experience and go through?’ A whirlwind of awesomeness. You never know what you’re capable of until you go through it. I was very creatively inspired, and then I fell in love from there. And so I really just played with those themes in my music.”

She added: “You know, you have experience with loving puppies, you think it’s love. But this is my first deep, deep, true love.”

Back in May, Bailey told PEOPLE about her fairytale romance with DDG. When asked if she would call the founder of the Zooted Music publishing house a real prince, she answered: “Yes. I would say that.”

“I think the best thing about young love is that you can continue to find yourself through this journey of loving someone else,” she said. “And you discover new parts of yourself and maybe things you hadn’t noticed before about your heart.”

“I feel that things change when love becomes more involved in your life. I’ve definitely discovered more about myself as a woman,” Bailey continued. “It’s a really cool thing to go through, but a transformative experience.”
