Hannah Godwin Reveals That Moving Her Mom ‘Out from Alabama’ Was the ‘Best Day of My Entire Life’

Hannah Godwin talks about her “proudest moment”.

In a recent episode Bachelor podcast by alum Jason Tartick, Trade secretsGodwin opened up about the special achievement.

“The biggest thing, and I’ll say this for the rest of my life — moving my mom from Alabama,” she said. “It was truly the best day of my life. It changed my life.”

Godwin then explained how the whole move came about.

“She was in Alabama. She worked at LensCrafters in the mall. And then I found a place down the street from me in San Diego. That day I thought, ‘Why don’t you just quit?’ Let’s do it,” she said.

From there, the reality star said she “could have moved out and she loves San Diego.”

“It’s my greatest achievement ever,” she said, adding that they often hang out now that they live close to each other again. “I hung out with her last night. We watched movies together.”

Godwin, who appeared in season 23 of Colton Underwood Bachelor and later got married Bachelor in Paradise, second actress Dylan Barbour recently opened up about her time on the ABC hit.

She responded to a fan who asked a TikTok question about what flights look like while filming the show.

“When we were abroad, [the women] everyone would sit down first because we had seats in the back in random places and stuff,” she explained. “And then the Bachelor and the host—then it was Chris Harrison—would sit down last and they could sit in the front” to limit the interaction between him and contestants off camera.

The mystery of not knowing exactly where the bachelor is sitting would always cause excitement among the contestants, she said.

“We always thought ‘Is our bachelor here in front?’ As if we wouldn’t know if he was in there. I think it would wear like a hoodie,” she added.

Godwin also revealed in the comments that contestants were not allowed to carry a book or phones during the trip. While in flight, she would be busy talking to her friends on the other side of the aisle.

“I remember they wanted us to minimally talk about what was going on in the show on the planes — like we shouldn’t really be talking about it,” she said. “Because if we didn’t have a microphone, they obviously wanted to record everything you say or think on camera.”
