PRINCESS Kate took her first steps towards returning to official duties by visiting her favorite farm shop.
Onlookers said she looked “happy, relaxed and healthy” during a visit a mile from her home at Adelaide Cottage in Windsor on Saturday.

In a further boost yesterday, Kate and William spent the morning watching children George, ten, Charlotte, eight, and Louis, five, play sports.
The sightings came amid wild speculation and gossip about her health and whereabouts, leaving the royal couple “devastated”.
Even Kim Kardashian got in on the dig – posting a series of selfies with the caption: “On my way to find Kate.”
Kate was also embroiled in backlash for a Mother’s Day photo she photoshopped.

A witness at a Windsor farm shop said: “After all the rumors going around I was amazed to see them there.
“Kate was shopping with William and she looked happy and she looked good.
“The kids weren’t with them, but that’s such a good sign that she was well enough to stop by the store.”
There was more heartening news for the royal family yesterday as Kate watched her sporting children.
King Charles, who is being treated for cancer, was able to spend the weekend at his Highgrove home in Gloucestershire.
Kate was last seen on public duty on Christmas Day and has been unable to attend official duties since undergoing surgery in January.
Kate Middleton shares heartwarming message as she is replaced at Irish Guards St Patrick’s Day parade as she recovers
She is not likely to return until April 17 when her children return to Lambrook School near Ascot after the Easter holidays.
Palace sources said Kate wants to talk about her health battle – but only when she returns to her first duties.
A friend said: “She and William are at their most open when they are out interacting with the public.
“I see a world where a princess could talk about her recovery at an engagement party.
“If she was going to do it, that’s how she would have done it.
“They appreciate the public’s love and affection for their children and know there is a public appetite to see them at their birthday parties.”
Kensington Palace says Kate is “doing well” and will only offer significant updates as she recovers.
A friend said Wills and Kate were “shaken” by the internet hysteria over her health and the fallout over her Mother’s Day photo.
But they said the couple refused to be pressured into revealing details until they were ready.
The friend added: “They’ll want to be clear and open, but they’ll do it when they feel ready.

“I would expect it to be her instinct and it would be her decision.
“They won’t be rushed.”
Kate was discharged 13 days after the operation in January.
But as she recovered, speculation about her health grew online.
It was further prompted when William pulled out of the memorial service last month due to a mysterious “personal matter”.
“Katespirations” ranged from her cosmetic surgery to appearing as a contestant on The Masked Singer and even being rejected by the royal family.
In an attempt to reassure the public, she posted a Mother’s Day photo – taken by William – of herself and the children.
But it was revealed to have been photoshopped – sparking even more hysteria.
Other silly claims suggested that Wales’ family Christmas card had been digitally altered.
The Ministry of Defense also had to make an awkward U-turn after suggesting Kate would appear at the Trooping the Color event in June.
His post was hastily removed from the army’s website amid outrage at Kensington Palace.

3 CHEERS FOR COLONEL KATE
KATE’s Irish Guards give her a three-way salute – even though she missed their St Patrick’s Day parade.
In a touching gesture, the regiment sang a trio of “Hip, hip, hooray” to the Princess of Wales, who serves as its colonel, yesterday.

The Army explained: “In line with tradition, wherever they are in the world, the Irish Guards cheer three times for the Colonel of the Regiment, HRH The Princess of Wales.”
Meanwhile, Irish wolfhound Seamus — the regiment’s mascot — sat sad because Kate wasn’t there to hand out the traditional shamrock.
He led a march in Aldershot, Hants.

LISTEN TO THE MUSHROOM KING
VISITORS to King Charles’ Sandringham estate this summer will be given special microphones so they can listen to the “voices” of mushrooms.
The king opens the field for a series of walks through the Choir of Life.

The property’s website says guests will use a “specialized parabolic microphone” to listen to birdsong and “hidden sounds of plants, lichens and fungi.”
The technique involves converting electrical conductivity into sound.
Visitors will also be able to go forest bathing — a practice originating in Japan that connects people with nature through sensory activities.
