Harleen attended Jankidevi Public School, Mumbai and furthered her education at various colleges including RD National and WA Science College, Mumbai; Mithibai College, Mumbai; and Narsee Monjee Institute of Management, Mumbai. She started her career as a dancer and worked at Danceworx Academy of Performing Arts in Mumbai. After that, she joined lifestyle channel NDTV Good Times.
