PRINCE Harry and wife Meghan have been declared “the biggest losers” by the Hollywood showbiz bible.
The pair were given the unwelcome headline after being slammed for their lamentations – as it was revealed their charity was running at a loss.

LA magazine The Hollywood Reporter named them among the “biggest losers” of 2023 amid the fallout from their “weepy Netflix documentary” and Harry’s “weepy biography.”
She left in 2023 bringing back memories of the late Queen dubbing her annus horribilis in 1992 after a string of royal scandals and a fire at Windsor Castle.
Meanwhile, shocking figures have revealed that donations to their Archewell Foundation have fallen by almost £9 million a year.
The couple’s various attacks on the royal family and their own declining popularity have already resulted in a series of troubles.
These include ditching the money-making podcast, the comedy show South Park taking on Mickey and Harry not getting a front row seat at his father’s coronation.
His view was even obscured by Princess Anne’s feathered hat.
There was heated debate over Harry’s book Spare and its follow-up biography Endgame by Omid Scobie, and the couple’s behavior saw them lose their home, Frogmore Cottage, on the royal grounds of Windsor Castle.
Harry’s claims that the media ignored his Afghan war comrades have been proven false, following outrage over the pair’s misleading Netflix documentary.
In a scathing attack, The Hollywood Reporter exploded: “After a whiny Netflix documentary, a whiny biography (Spare — even the title is frowned upon) and an inert podcast, Harry and Meghan’s brand has inflated into a hypocritical bubble just begging to be popped — and South Park was the needle.”
It continued: “Still, all the scorn and derision is better than having to attend over 200 official royal engagements a year, which sounds like hell.”
The attack is sure to sting Harry and Meghan — who were branded “freaking frauds” by a Spotify executive after producing just one 12-episode series of their Archetypes podcast.
This year they ventured into the celebrity life in LA, attending concerts by Katy Perry and Beyonce.
And Meg has hired Beverly Hills talent agency William Morris Endeavor ahead of her long-planned New Year’s relaunch.
Last night the talent agent, prof. Jonathan Shalit OBE, said: “The last few months have not been good from a PR perspective, but equally the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are far from it.
“They are a magnetic couple that the world is very interested in.
“Yes, they are still trying to find their place in the public arena. But in the bigger scheme of things there is something to play for.”
The fact that the Archewell Foundation appears to be stalling will also dismay the Sussexes.
New figures for 2022 show it raised almost £9 million less in donations than the previous year.
It remained in business with a loss of £536,357, although it was in the red due to earlier donations.
According to US tax documents, Archewell — named after four-year-old son Archie — received £1.6m, down from £10.3m.
Two major donors contributed nearly £800,000 each. With costs estimated at £2.12m, Archewell recorded an annual loss of £536,357.
Neither Harry nor Meghan received a salary, but the five employees received a total of £509,285 for the year.
Among them was CEO James Holt, who has been considered the Sussexes’ right-hand man since Megxit.
He was paid £180,835 — including a £15,904 bonus — a £133,000 increase on his starting salary of £47,641 the year before.
Herlihy Loughran, a company run by former Palace aides Clara Loughran and former Hollyoaks actress Beth Herlihy, received more than £100,000 for what it described as “programmatic strategic support”.
Sources close to Archewell said the foundation has received significant seed funding that will be used over several years.
They added that it would be “fiscally irresponsible” to continue collecting huge donations when it still has more than £6m in the bank.
It is also believed that last year’s donations will increase to almost £4 million.
