Last week, Holly left the magazine’s ‘For My Family’ show after an alleged plot to kidnap and kill herself.

ITV bosses have reassured the presenter, 42, that there is “zero pressure” to be ready to paint in the glow for Dancing on Ice in January.

The channel is ready to support her stay on leave “for as long as she needs”.

A source said: “The last 12 months have taken a real toll on Holly.

“Everyone around her – family, friends and her team – all agreed that she would really benefit from a decent break from work.

“ITV assured her there was no pressure to be ready for Dancing on Ice even though she is still a beloved part of the family.

“After all, work on the skate show starts in December with filming and promotion, and no one wants to put unrealistic expectations on Holly’s shoulders and make her feel like she has to rush, especially since no one knows how or when the court case will continue.

“Everyone agrees that putting everything on ice – so to speak – is best.”

The skating show is already facing upheaval after Phillip Schofield, 61, stepped down from all his ITV jobs after admitting to an affair with a runner this summer.

Stephen Mulhern, 46, who stood in for Schofield when he had Covid, is the frontrunner to host alongside Holly if he returns this year.

Security guard Gavin Plumb, 36, from Harlow, Essex, has been charged with incitement to kidnap and conspiracy to murder.
