- Harshvardhan Rane was born in 1983 to a father from Maharashtra and a Telugu mother.
- When Rane was 15, he ran away from home with 200 rupees in his pocket. Talking about this in an interview, he said:
In fact, people told me I couldn’t make it. Even when I was a kid, I would go out of my way to prove that if one worked hard enough, things could be accomplished.
