TELLY star Pete Wicks has left Celebrity SAS for the second time due to painful memories of his troubled mother.
Pete, who also appears on Strictly, said the revelation of his feelings broke him.

Last night Channel 4 viewers saw Pete, 36, tell instructors on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins: “I’ve lost the fight, I’ve got nothing left, my head’s not in it.”
We can reveal that he came out after being asked to write an emotional letter to his mother, who he saved from a suicide attempt when he was 12.
Pete, who rose to fame on ITV’s reality show Towie, told us: “That night I decided I was in too deep.
“I didn’t prepare to read the letters.
“I said things that I don’t think I should have because I didn’t say it to the right person.
“I thought, ‘I have to go and tell my mom what I said in this letter.'”
Pete was first forced to leave the show in 2022 after breaking a rib jumping out of a helicopter.
He recorded his second performance in New Zealand last year.
Pete added: “It’s life and death for them.
“But it’s a TV show, and I’ve reached my limit on a TV show. I have absolutely no regrets about that.”

Meanwhile, Pete is said to be getting close to Jowita Przystal, his professional dance partner on BBC’s Strictly.
