Heartstopper creator Alice Oseman confesses she knows when show will end

Heart stops beatingCreator Alice Oseman has admitted that she has thought of an end to her hugely popular TV show based on the webcomic of the same name. The Netflix show’s creator revealed her plans for its future in an exclusive interview HELLO! Our pride month coverage pre-interview.

“I definitely have an ending point in mind, just because I know what’s going to happen throughout the story, [and] because I was planning the comics,” explains Alice, who uses the pronoun she/they, “And I imagine,” she continued, “four seasons will see the whole Heartstopper story.”

Following the success of the love story on Netflix last year, the streaming service renewed the series – which the 28-year-old author and illustrator both wrote and produced – for two more seasons. Therefore, Alice’s dream of having the story last 4 seasons is not far away.

“We’ll have to see how seasons two and three play out,” they admitted, before hopefully adding, “[Let’s] interlaced fingers.” Fans of the series are sure to enjoy, as excitement about the many stories of Nick, Charlie and their friends continues to grow as more and more people discover the series. this fun on Netflix.

The show’s second season is slated to premiere on August 3, 2023, but fans are still waiting for an announcement. Although the hugely successful hit announced a first look at the second season, not much is known about the series beyond what comic readers know to expect from Alice’s story.

Photos and footage of the stars filming the show’s second season also helped make the announcement for die-hard fans, with the famous author also revealing HELLO! about one of the days the group was filming in Paris.

“It was a magical but also nerve-wracking experience filming,” she said, recalling, before continuing dispassionately: “Part of it [shoot] he was climbing the Eiffel Tower, so one day we went up to the Eiffel Tower around 7 a.m., and we all had to get up at dawn and go up the Eiffel Tower’s service elevator—this scary, by the road.”

Then the author teased a scene that sounded romantic for everyone Heart stops beating characters, before ending her anecdote with some skepticism about how lucky they were to experience what they did. “We filmed them looking over Paris at sunrise and I mean – that’s amazing. I can’t believe we’re allowed to do that!” she speaks.

In the interview with HELLO!The 28-year-old romance and asexual star also revealed how she was able to fulfill her desire to share the upcoming ace and aro story through her character Isaac. “Isaac will have a clone and fragrant story Heart stops beating,” said Alice, later explaining that the story focusing on Isaac’s identity will be “epic presented” in season two.
