The crew will also take a school trip to the city of lights, Paris, in the upcoming season of Heartstopper, as well as prom preparations. In an interview with Tudum, creator Oseman said that the Netflix program is about:
“Exploring real, serious issues that can be dark, but trying to balance that with a sense of hope that things can and will get better,…” That can be very difficult to achieve as a writer without it becoming too bleak or skip the harsher parts of the story. But the aim of Heartstopper is to strike that balance.”
