Heather Rae El Moussa is figuring out her next steps, and it’s not always an easy road.

On Tuesday, the real estate agent, 36, shared a repost on her Instagram Story in which she mentioned feeling “overwhelmed” as she navigates her career aspirations.

She re-shared a text post from the Third Eye Thoughts account, writing: “I’m praying tonight for everyone who is feeling overwhelmed. With work, with love, with life. Be gentle with yourself and take it one day at a time. You got this.”

The reality star added her own message to the stream, saying she felt the post was especially appropriate at this time in her life.

“I’m loving this right now because I’m trying to grow my business,” El Moussa began, adding that she’s trying to “get things in order.”

“I’m trying to get things done. Some days I’m so motivated, and some days I feel like the pieces are falling apart,” she continued.

El Moussa was candid about her exit from the Netflix documentary Sale Sunset, sharing that she was not asked to return to filming after her maternity leave after giving birth to her son Tristan in January 2023.

She first revealed that she will have a minor role in Season 7 in March 2023. “Season 7 is being filmed right now, but I was on maternity leave and I was excited to get back to work, and I haven’t been invited back yet,” she told E! News.

“It was a little frustrating. So [I’m] I’m not sure what’s going on,” she added. She later confirmed that she would not be a part of Season 8.

In November, Heather revealed to PEOPLE that she enjoyed spending more time with her family and having less “drama” in her life. She also explained that her priorities have changed since she and Tarek had a son.

“I love that I can prioritize my family and my happiness and step away from some drama that Selling Sunset brought into my life,” she said. “A lot of things happened that I don’t want to talk about, but overall I’m very happy with my life.”
