Heather Rae El Moussa is facing backlash for her Valentine’s Day tribute that included two of her three children.
The Selling Sunset The alum has son Tristan, 1, with husband Tarek and is stepmom to Taylor, 13, and Brayden, 8, whom Tarek shares with his ex, Christina Hall. However, in honor of her loved ones on the holiday, Heather only included the boys and Tarek.
“Happy Valentine’s Day to my boys T, T & B,” she wrote. “I have never felt so much love in my life. All three of them keep me on my toes but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I am so thankful that you are my husband, my best friend, my partner @therealtarekelmoussa. You are my person and the best dad I could ever have wish. I love you so much baby and I love you Tristan and Bray.”
The message was shared alongside a gallery of photos showing Heather and her male family members without pictures of Taylor.

Heather’s followers were quick to flood the comments with their thoughts on her stepdaughter’s exclusion.
“You can wish a girl a Happy Valentine’s Day too. It’s just sad to say to boys,” wrote one.
Another chimed in: “I always like your content but now I’m only intrigued by guys?”
Others were more forceful and expressed their outrage and disappointment. “I can’t believe you decided to alienate Taylor on Valentine’s Day. That’s SAD,” one commented.
“Totally no contact. It doesn’t matter where Tay has been the fact that she didn’t mention her on the day we celebrate our loved ones shows her character. So inconsiderate,” wrote another.

Some commentators were concerned about her stepdaughter’s potentially hurt feelings as she was left out of the lovefest. “What a way to make her feel less than the boys,” remarked one follower.
While others questioned whether there was a rift between the two, with one person commenting: “Did you fight with Taylor?”

On Wednesday, Flipping the El Moussas star also shared a video of three flower arrangements on her kitchen counter that appeared to be Valentine’s Day gifts from her husband and all three children. “Thank you my love, @therealtarekelmoussa, Tristan, Bray and Tay,” Heather captioned the video. She also published a video of her giving Tristan a special picture book for Valentine’s Day.

Heather didn’t respond to criticism on her latest Instagram, but regularly posts on social media about all three children and their blended family. Even before she and Tarek tied the knot in October 2021, she called herself Taylor and Brayden’s “bonus mom.”
In a tribute to the children on Mother’s Day last year, she wrote: “I love all three El Moussa babies so much my heart can barely take it. Being a mother has completed me in ways I never knew possible and changed my life for the better.”
