Heather Rae El Moussa Says ‘Working with Spouse’ Can ‘Get a Little Wild’ During Filming

Heather, 36, compiled a series of behind-the-scenes clips of the two working on the house and shared them in a hilarious Instagram Reel on Thursday.

“HGTV ‘after dark’ edition… Things get a little wild when you’re working with your spouse 😜🤫,” Selling Sunset alum wrote in the description.

The video began with a clip of Heather trying to blow up a pool float. After she failed, she told Tarek, 42, “It’s not working,” to which he replied: “If anyone saw us here now, it would look really weird.”

Ariana Grande’s “the boy is mine” plays in the background and the video cuts to clips of the two looking at different parts of the property and sharing a sweet moment in the kitchen. Near the end of the video, they examine the outside of the house, and Tarek picks Heather up and starts spinning her near the pool.

The couple, who married in October 2021, were apparently working on the house for a second season Rotating El Moussas, whose premiere is expected sometime in 2024.

Last November, Heather told PEOPLE that fans can expect the new home renovation set to be “amazing.”

“The houses are amazing, the designs are amazing, and I’m very involved in every single design of every house we flip,” she said.

While she noted the process was “a lot of work,” she said the overall experience was “very rewarding” and “exciting.”

“I love that I can take a nasty, beat-up hideous house and turn it into something beautiful,” she said. “It’s just such an amazing job … and flipping houses with my husband is so much fun. We just really enjoy what we do.”

Their family includes daughter Taylor Reese, 13, and son Brayden James, 8, whom Tarek welcomed with ex-wife Christina Hall. Tarek and Heather welcomed their first child together, son Tristan Jay, on January 31, 2023.

Tarek opened up about one of the latest lessons he’s learned about fatherhood in an Instagram post in February that included a photo with Taylor and Brayden.
