Hilary Duff’s Husband Matthew Koma Joins Her Ex Joel Madden for a Coffee Outing in L.A.

There’s harmony between the men in Hilary Duff’s lives — past and present!

The “Coming Clean” singer’s husband, Matthew Koma, and her ex-boyfriend, Joel Madden, were spotted grabbing coffee together in Los Angeles on Friday.

Both men were casually dressed for going out as they strolled and chatted. Madden, 45, was wearing a matching navy t-shirt and pants, and had a black baseball cap on his head.

Koma, 36, paired a light blue shirt with gray sweatpants and wore sunglasses and an olive green beanie.

The pictures marked the first time Koma – who is currently expecting his third child with Duff, 36 – has been seen in public since revealing he had undergone a vasectomy.

On Monday, the musician shared several slides about the procedure on his Instagram Story.

“It’s Vasectomy Day!!!!!!” he wrote a selfie taken in his car.

After the procedure, Koma shared a photo of himself in a hospital cap and gown. “Honestly, not bad at all. It sure beats going to the dentist,” he captioned the picture.

Duff and Koma announced that they are expecting baby no. 3 in December 2023. This is Duff’s fourth pregnancy.

She shares her eldest son, 11-year-old Luca Cruz, with ex-husband Mike Comrie. Along with the baby on the way, Duff and Koma have daughters Banks Violet, 5, and Mae James, 2.

The Lizzie McGuire star has been dating Good Charlotte member Madden since 2005 — when they worked together on her compilation album The most wanted – until November 2006.

Madden is married to actress and reality star Nicole Richie. 2010. They have two children, Harlow, 16, and Sparrow, 14.

“Otherwise, I have a good relationship with their whole family. I think people were [blown away]. I don’t know. We are neighbors. And we actually hang out all the time,” she said at the time.

“I was just inside [Richie’s] driveway, honked for her to come drink wine with us one day,” the How I met your father star added.
