After nearly two years with the company, he joined Cyma Dassani Marketing Private Limited as Director, Marketing and Operations. As India’s world-class foreign trade and agency at the time, CDM represented numerous international manufacturers of plastics, chemicals and APIs. In 1993, Himalay was hired as Marketing Director of Ceeta Springs & Steels Pvt Ltd. While working there, he created a leaf spring marketing network in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala and Maharashtra. As business grew exponentially, CSS decided to expand its production capacity to meet the needs of its growing customer base. In 1995, Himalaya Dasani became the CEO of Quantum Digital Vision Ltd. and assisted the company in successfully raising funds from the capital market to cover part of the development costs of the factory. As part of the growth, an export-oriented unit was established and the company successfully started producing and selling its products in the European market. Later, the business expanded into the field of television and film production, and many popular TV series and films were completed. Himalay was appointed Deputy Director of Business Development in 2009 for Isolux Corsán, a global brand developing energy, water, environment, road and rail infrastructure with operations in more than 35 countries on four continents. He has led teams to win many infrastructure projects – corporate development in areas such as roads, power transmission and more. Thanks to the determination and hard work of Dasani and his team, the company’s value rose to over $2 billion. Since 2009, the company has expanded its operations and obtained concessions to manage four toll roads with a total mileage of more than 700 kilometers and an investment of more than US$2 billion. Since 2012, Himalaya Dasani has been the promoter of Dasani Construction, a construction company that builds projects in cities like Pune, Indore and Mumbai.
