She left the ITV series after a plot to kidnap, rape and murder her was revealed. Security guard Gavin Plumb, 37, was later jailed for life over the scheme.
Holly’s departure from the daytime show after 14 years also follows a difficult few months after co-host Phillip Schofield left.
While Holly has since returned to TV, starring in Dancing On Ice alongside Stephen Mulhern, the NTA will be a big return to the limelight for the presenter who has reduced her workload.
She will be able to catch up with her friends from This Morning, including Dermot O’Leary and Alison Hammond, who is competing for the gong in the TV presenter category.

“Just watching them work makes me happy. They are professional and brilliant and wonderful to watch.
“There are certain people like Alison, who is amazing in a completely different way.
“There’s something about her that you can’t teach her and you can’t contain.”
On the other hand, the glamorous stars of the hit Netflix series Selling Sunset flew in to present the gong.

Schoolchildren who gave up their smartphones for three weeks will be the focus of a two-part Channel 4 show hosted by Emma and Matt Willis.
Twelve-year-olds and 13-year-olds from Stanway School in Colchester are taking part in a University of York study to see how teenagers’ behavior changes without their phones.
The group will face cognitive tasks testing attention, reaction time and memory for 21 days, to see if it actually affects their brain function.
Swiped: The School That Banned Smartphones will also feature contributions from Dr Rangan Chatterjee, an expert scientist, campaigner and politician.
Emma and Matt said: “We are intrigued by the results of the experiment and hope it can spark change and have a lasting and positive effect on everyone.”
The powerful documentary will give a shocking insight into the attacks by Hamas at the Nova Music Festival in Israel. Surviving October 7th: We Will Dance Again uses the testimonies of survivors of the horrors of the Negev desert. It will be broadcast on BBC Two and iPlayer on September 26 at 9pm.

He bitterly complained about the attention his famous “lunchbox” attracted during his athletic career.
But that doesn’t mean Linford Christie wasn’t tempted to earn it.
In fact, the former Olympic sprinter turned down offers to show it off to spare his father embarrassment.
He told Russell Howard on his Wonderbox podcast: “Weirdest deals? I have a bunch of nude poses. I thought, money is good.
“But my father always said, ‘If you do anything to embarrass me, remember that when I go to church on Sundays, I want to sit in the front row. I want to be able to walk in with my head held high.’
“So it was tempting, but I would never do it.”
