Bryan, best known for his role on Home improvementappeared in an Oregon court Wednesday afternoon to answer to charges of fourth-degree assault, third-degree robbery and harassment following his July 28 arrest.

In a statement shared with PEOPLE, Lane County Chief Deputy District Attorney Chris Parosa confirmed that the former child actor, 42, “pleaded guilty to a fourth-degree felony count of domestic violence” at his court appearance.

Bryan was previously charged with a similar assault in 2020 after he allegedly strangled a woman. He pleaded guilty to two counts in 2021. “He was sentenced to 36 months of probation, with conditions of probation including the Bridges2Safety program and no contact with the victim, as well as other standard conditions in a domestic violence sentence,” according to a statement from County District Attorney Lana Patricia at the time Perlow.
