Gran Canaria, Spain, was beaten up by the rain, causing floods on Monday on the islands.
A popular holiday location struggled with a growing water level that dragged cars under bridges and across the streets.
One terrifying video showed that the vehicle was pushed into the sea on the beach of Play Salinetas.
Flash floods left a mud and dirt cover that covers roads and roadways over Gran Canaria.

Several cars were also dragged to the island Las Bachilleras Ravine.
On Saturday, officials issued a “Pre-Alert” warning across the Canary Islands.
This came while the heavy rain hit the archipelago over the weekend.
The Spanish National Time Agency, Aemet, issued a red warning on Monday via Gran Canaria.
A higher warning level for all canaries, including Tenerife.

This potentially dangerous rain should also continue in the week.
The areas that are expected to be the worst are La Palma, Tenerife and Gran Canaria.
Some areas can also be affected by thunderstorms.
Officials advised tourists and residents to avoid unnecessary journey and stay awake in areas prone to floods.
Nevertheless, the locals and authorities have tried to start cleaning the torn streets with brushes and shovels.
This is only a few months after devastating floods that killed more than 200 people in southern Spain.
Areas around larger cities like Valencia and Marbella are devastated by scary floods in October.
Valencia, on the eastern coast, was one of the most severely affected in floods with cities like Turis and UPIIl, which were shooting up to 200 meters of rain.
Over 1,000 soldiers are deployed to areas that are the worst affected to help the life efforts.
At the time, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez said, “Our thoughts come out to those whose homes and possession are devastated and whose lives are covered with mud.
“We are united and we will renew your streets and your squares and bridges. Spain will be with you.”
