A MUM and her three children, including a baby, were among five members of a family who died when a fire tore through a house.

Her three children, including her baby, sadly also died in the inferno, a family member told The Sun.

Cries of “get my son out” were heard as the fire engulfed the house in Canal Close, Hounslow.

One man managed to escape and was taken to hospital while around 70 firefighters arrived from 22.26.

Ten engines helped put out the blaze as firefighters entered the building with breathing apparatus.

They found five people on the first floor of the building, but all were tragically pronounced dead at the scene.

One person is still missing.

A desperate family member has told how six of his relatives are feared dead after a house fire in Hounslow.

Dileep Singh, 54, ran from Manchester to Channel Close where his brother-in-law was at home with his wife, three children and two adult guests.

He said: “I received the call and came as soon as I could with my wife, we are in desperate need of information.

“My brother-in-law is alive, but I don’t know what happened to all the others. I’m afraid they’re dead.

“We are desperate. I was told the fire came from the outside of the bucket. We’re going to the hospital to try to get more information.”

One neighbor, who does not know the family, said he was lying in bed when his daughter told him ‘Mum, it’s on fire, it looks big’.

He added: “We heard a guy screaming ‘get my son out, get my son out’. The flames started to grow after literally seconds.

“Flames were coming out eight, nine, ten feet from the house, spreading on both sides. Like an explosion, huge flames.

“It went through the house, it came out the back. The whole house was engulfed in eight or nine seconds, it was that fast.”

The Metropolitan Police have launched an investigation into the fire.

When asked if the fire could have been caused by fireworks, the police officers replied that they are not ruling anything out at this stage.

London Fire Commissioner Andy Roe expressed his condolences following the tragedy.

He said: “This is a terribly sad incident and the thoughts of all of us at the London Fire Brigade are with the family, friends and all those affected at this difficult time.”

Chief Superintendent Sean Wilson said: “My thoughts are with the loved ones of those who sadly lost their lives in this tragic incident.”
