You’re making pancakes, banana bread, or some other treat when you find 3/4 cup in your recipe. But here’s the thing… you don’t have 3/4 cup in the kitchen. But no need to break a sweat, there are plenty of measuring options for dry and wet ingredients at your disposal. We’ve covered everything you need to know, so you can spend less time measuring and more time preparing the food you love.
- Measure 12 tablespoons or 36 teaspoons of dry or wet ingredients if you only have measuring spoons
- Use household containers that hold 6 fluid ounces (180 ml), such as cans, jars, or food jars. A 6 fl oz (180 ml) container has the same volume as 3/4 cup.
- Use 1/4 and 1/2 cups if you don’t have a 3/4 tablespoon handy. Use a liquid measuring cup for wet ingredients.
