Gino, 48, was also put through a language and manners course by concerned executives.
The popular star was accused of a flash prank – while crew members were offered advice on Betty TV’s Emission Impossible, his show with Fred Sirieix.
A source said: “Although Gino is well liked by some, he has fallen out with many. He’s fun-loving and ultimately refused to sign a morality clause in his contract that would have kept him on the clean road. That was the final straw and the decision was made to part ways.
“He was quite stiff on the set of Emission Impossible and, after the accident on set, the crew were offered therapy because they felt the fallout was very difficult.
“Filming was stopped and Gino was put on a training course.
“He has a sporran called Justin Beaver that he flashes regularly.
“Some of his humor and antics in 2024 have become increasingly difficult to tolerate.”
Last year he was caught with cannabis while flying to Britain after filming with Fred and Gordon Ramsay
The former This Morning chef has only appeared on it twice this year, while his dating show Cooking Up Love was axed after two episodes.
He is due to air next year for the series Family Fortunes which has already been filmed.

An ITV spokesman said: “We made our position clear following the outcome of our KC review last year, after which we said: ‘We are fully committed to creating an environment where everyone is treated with respect and feels able to do their best.
“Our promise to those we work with is that we will always investigate cases of complaints or serious problems, and if we find that something inappropriate has happened, we will take action.
“We will continue to develop our efforts to give younger colleagues the confidence to speak up if they have something to point out.
“Following the review, we reiterated our expectations and introduced Conduct Guidelines and Standards for On-Screen People outlining our behavioral expectations, and we also previously offered language and behavior training, either directly or through our third-party producers, where appropriate.
“We also outline our expectations for third-party producers of commissioned programming to ensure they have appropriate procedures in place that comply with our Code of Conduct to effectively protect contributors and production staff.”
A spokesperson for Gino has been contacted for comment.
It was said by the friendly staff of the BBC
The BBC will not “tolerate behavior that falls below the standards we expect” and will continue to champion “a culture that is kind, inclusive and respectful”, bosses said.
The message to staff comes as MasterChef production company Banijay investigates co-host Gregg Wallace.
BBC director-general Tim Davie and head of content Charlotte Moore told them: “Speak up if you see something that’s wrong.”
