How Rich Is Bun B? Net Worth, Salary, Career

Trill Burgers, the Bun Ba burger brand, won Good Morning America’s United States of Burgers competition. Trill Burgers won the championship on Friday, July 29, in New York’s Times Square, where they battled against fellow finalists Lucky’s Last Chance in Philadelphia, The Companion in Atlanta and Babe’s Meat & Counter in Miami. From the judging panel, Trill Burgers received votes from chef and TV personality Gina Neely, football running back Tiki Barbero, NBA player Jalen Rose, WWE wrestler Titus O’Neil and ABC host Sam Champion.

Bunn had this to say about his win:

“It’s so weird it doesn’t make sense.” It’s not even possible for this company to be in Times Square after winning America’s Best Burger live on Good Morning America. We just wanted to be rewarded for our efforts, and today we received the greatest recognition. I can’t wait to introduce this burger to the United States.”

Trill Burgers debuted as a pop-up restaurant in August 2021, and its next appearance is scheduled to take place during the Rock the Bells music event.

Bun B rose to fame as a member of the rap group UGK with Pimp C. He has released five albums so far, all of which have been well received by fans. The 49-year-old has a net worth of approximately $4 million as of July 2023, according to CelebrityNetWorth. Although comprehensive information about his assets is not public, his rap career accounts for the majority of his money.

In the 1980s, he and Pimp C formed the rap group UGK, also known as Bernard James Freeman. The latter was the first to release a demo tape without Freeman, which was discovered by the record company Bigytime Records. Because the songs on their debut album Too Hard to Swallow were explicit, they released an extended play called Banned before the release of Too Hard to Swallow.

Before Pimp C went to prison, the group recorded three more albums. Bun B began making guest appearances on other rappers’ albums and released the Legends mixtape. Trill, his first album, was released in October 2005 and peaked at number six on the Billboard 200.

After Pimp C died in 2007, Freeman began to concentrate on his solo career. In 2008, he released his second album II Trill, and in August 2010, he released Trill OG. The singles from the album were well received by the rapper’s fans. Trill OG: The Epilogue, Bun Ba’s fourth album, was released in November 2013 and included leftovers from Freeman’s third album. In January 2014, he announced ‘The Trillest Tour’, which took place the same year.
