Solution 3: Restore iPhone using iTunes

Step 1 – Make sure your iPhone has a screen lock password. If not, go to Settings > Face ID & Passcode > Turn Passcode On to set a passcode.
Step 2: Connect iPhone to computer via Apple Lightning USB cable, then put iPhone in recovery mode.
Step 3: Open iTunes on your computer, select Restore in the pop-up dialog, and then follow the onscreen instructions to restore iPhone to factory settings.
