No sandbox game is complete without allowing players to build their own farms around the world and walheim No exception. Planting and building a garden is quite easy. However, the steps of building a garden are the most difficult part.
Super early players can’t garden walheim. They will have to go to a number of different crafting stations to be able to craft tools and turn the area into a safe garden. This is above all collecting products that players want to grow on their farm.
How to Prepare for Gardening in Waalheim
The three main crafting stations that players need to farm are Coal Furnace, Smelter, and Forge. These require the player to collect 10 special resources called Surtling Cores. Once hunted, the player can build these crafting stations at the workbench.
After completing all three stations, the player will need to craft ore. This requires the player to obtain the Antler Pickaxe upon defeating Eikthyr, the first of the game’s five main bosses. That said, farming in Valheim isn’t happening anytime soon.
Depending on the type of ore the player is looking for, they will need to look at the different biomes on the map. For copper and tin mines, check out the Black Forest biome. Tin will be near a body of water and look like a slightly shiny rock sticking out of the ground. Copper can also be found in large mossy rock formations that have a glint of gold. Players will need Bronze to craft the Plow and will require the player to collect both Bronze and Tin.
Gathering enough ore to craft a cultivator takes time, so players should be prepared to camp near whatever circuit they are mining.
Once the player has collected enough, they will need to return to camp and use the smelter to forge ore into ingots. After crafting both types of ingots, players will receive recipes for bronze at the smithy, two copper ingots for a tin. Players will need five copper ingots and five wood cores to build a cultivation machine.
Later walheim Cultivators have been created, and farming is simple. Equip a tiller and use it to pull weeds from the area to be plowed. Then select the type of seed or crop to sow and activate the fresh soil to plant it.
