How to Recover Permanently Deleted Gmail Account?

Steps to recover a permanently deleted Gmail account

Scenario 1: If you remember your password

  1. Go to this link in your web browser: https://accounts.google.com/signin/v2/recoveryidentifier?flowName=GlifWebSignIn&flowEntry=ServiceLogin
  2. Enter your ‘Gmail Username’ you want to recover and click ‘Next’.
  3. You will see a message saying ‘This account was recently deleted and can be recovered’; if you don’t see this message, it means your account cannot be recovered; press ‘Next’ to continue.
  4. Then enter your Gmail account password and click ‘Next’.
  5. You will see the message ‘Success: You have recovered your account’; after that, you can successfully login to your Gmail account.

Scenario 2: If you don’t remember your password

  1. Go to this link in your web browser: https://accounts.google.com/signin/v2/recoveryidentifier?flowName=GlifWebSignIn&flowEntry=ServiceLogin
  2. Enter your ‘Gmail Username’ you want to recover and click ‘Next’.
  3. You will see a message saying ‘This account was recently deleted and can be recovered’; if you don’t see this message, it means your account cannot be recovered; press ‘Next’ to continue.
  4. When prompted for your password, click ‘Try another way’
  5. Now click ‘Submit’ to receive the verification code on your number.
  6. Enter the code and click ‘Confirm’.
  7. You may also need to verify your recovery email address if you added it to your Gmail account.
  8. After verification, you can easily create a new password for your Gmail account.

After that, your deleted Gmail account will be recovered and you will see the message ‘Success: You have recovered your account’
