The actors and close friends were seen walking together in New York on Monday. The release of the pair comes a few days after The X-Men star and wife Deborra-lee Jackman announced an amicable divorce after 27 years of marriage.
Jackman (54) and Reynolds (46) will soon reprise their Marvel characters Wolverine and Deadpool in an upcoming film Deadpool 3 movie, which was in the middle of shooting before the Hollywood actors went on strike in July.

Deadpool 3 director Shawn Levy recently opened up about the actor’s relationship in an interview with Los Angeles Times at the Toronto International Film Festival earlier this month.
“It’s freaking real,” Levy, 55, said of the duo’s close dynamic. βThe boys love each other almost as much as Ryan Reynolds and I do. Because that bromance is a story for all time.”
Hugh and Deborra-lee, who share son Oscar, 23, and daughter Ava, 18, announced the news of their split in a statement they shared exclusively with PEOPLE on Friday.

“We have been blessed to share nearly 3 decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage,” they said. “Our journey is now changing and we have decided to separate to continue our personal growth.”
The statement continued: “Our family has been and always will be our highest priority. We embrace this next chapter with gratitude, love and kindness. We greatly appreciate your understanding in respecting our privacy as our family goes through this transition in all of our lives.”

A day after breaking the news, Hugh was spotted walking around New York without his wedding ring on.
Although it was a mutual decision for the Australian couple to separate, a source close to Hugh and Deborra-lee recently told PEOPLE that they are “heartbroken” and that the split is “very difficult.”
“It wasn’t a quick decision – they took a lot of time and thought about everything, and they made this decision together,” the insider said. “They go on separate journeys, but they will always be family. They will always be co-parents and best friends.”
