The latest film in Sony’s Spider-Man universe replicates Chris Evans’ iconic Captain America moment, but it doesn’t quite achieve the same effect. SSU has been on a rocky road since its inception. This scene replicates one of Captain America’s best moments Captain America: Civil War. Steve Rogers grabs the bottom of the helicopter and secures himself to the roof, preventing Bucky Barnes from escaping. He shows off his impressive biceps while doing his best to keep Bucky from leaving. Viewers have always known Captain America to be tough, but this scene shows his perseverance as he refuses to let go of the helicopter until Bucky forces him to.
Kraven the Hunter’s helicopter scene makes him look weaker than Steve Rogers
Kraven and Steve Rogers demonstrate immense strength as they engage in a tug-of-war in a helicopter. Helicopters can weigh 10,000 pounds or more, plus the people on board and the tremendous force they use while flying. However, in the final analysis, Steve’s feats of strength were more impressive than Kraven’s. Kraven was dragged underwater by the vehicle and eventually had to let go of the vehicle, allowing Rhino’s followers to escape along with his brother.
Steve successfully prevents Bucky from escaping, not letting go of the helicopter until Bucky pushes it towards him. Cap also showed off his arm, emphasizing the strength of Chris Evans/Steve Rogers.
