Leah said the skull image is from the painting The Ambassadors by German-Swiss painter Hans Holbein the Younger.
The woman inked the image vertically on what appears to be her right arm.
In the comment section, a fellow TikToker asks Leah whether the image “looks like the skull from their (other peoples) point of view.”
Leah replies: “Yep! and also when someone looks down their arm, the angle just has to be right !”
Another person said the tattoo looks like “a plop of turd” from the first perspective of the video.
“That’s cool n all but respectfully, it looks like a plop of turd from the first perspective,” the person commented.
A second person agreed, saying: “Yea I agree with you it’s a cool concept but you can also have a skull that looks like a skull from multiple angles.”
Meanwhile, a third TikTok was a fan of the tattoo and said people will be “flabbergasted” once they learn the meaning.
“Who gives a s*** what it looks like to others + when they ask you w** is that and you show them they’ll be flabbergasted,” the person commented.
SCHOOL BUS OPTICAL ILLUSION
The latest optical illusion craze has taken the internet by storm, sparking debate among viewers trying to crack the puzzling image in front of them.
One optical illusion that has been blowing people’s minds lately includes an image of two buses.
In this graphic, the two yellow school buses appear to go down a winding road.
The bus up top appears larger than the one below it, which also looks to be closer to the observer.
But the buses are actually the same size, despite our brains playing tricks on us.
This is a classic example of a Ponzo illusion, coined by Italian psychologist Mario Ponzo in 1911.
Ponzo suggested that the human mind perceives an object’s size based on its background, even in flat images.
He illustrated this by drawing two identical lines across a pair of converging lines, similar to railroad tracks.
The upper line appears longer because it seems to be further away.
Therefore, our mind believes that the lower line must, in turn, be smaller.
Therefore, our mind believes that the lower line must be smaller.
In reality, the two lines are the same size, but because of their surrounding backgrounds, the mind perceives different lengths.
This is the same type of science employed by the optical illusion featuring the buses.
