I’m only 31 years old, but I’ve been struggling with dark circles and puffiness for years. Although I own dozens of eye creams and serums that help with these symptoms (and they do), I’ve never been completely impressed with the results.
I love the effects that an under eye mask can provide, but I tend to avoid buying disposable patches because of the price (usually $4-10 each). So when I came across Dieux’s Forever Eye Mask, I was immediately intrigued. An under eye mask that is long lasting and reusable? $25 seems like a small price to pay.
It paid off in the end: I noticed immediate and long-term benefits after using these eye patches three to four times a week for six weeks. I finally realized that my genetics are not to blame, I just haven’t found the right product yet.

The Forever Eye Mask is meant to be just that: a reusable mask that you can use over and over again. Not only does it help with wastage and overconsumption, but it’s simply more cost-effective than buying disposable under-eye patches that are only good for one use. I use the forever eye mask regularly for six weeks, but the brand says it will last about a year before the logo starts to fade (however, that doesn’t diminish their effectiveness; they can be used much longer if you don’t mind the brand fading over time) .
It works like the disposable eye masks you know and love: by encapsulating your choice of eye serum, oil, cream or gel, it keeps the formula close to the skin allowing for maximum absorption. I tested this brand’s eye serum and it did wonders for my dark circles, fine lines and puffiness. The mask also helps catch makeup residue if you wear it while doing eye makeup.

How to use Dieux Forever eye mask
The instructions for using (and re-using) the Dieux eye mask are very simple:
- Apply an eye serum, gel, or cream of your choice (we’ve tested dozens of eye serums and creams, including the best for puffiness and dark circles, but we also recommend Dieux’s Auracle Eye Serum).
- Wait 10 to 20 seconds for the product to become tacky so the eye mask can adhere to the formula without slipping.
- Apply silicone eye masks on top of the formula. Consult the brand’s guide for installation tips.
- Wear the masks for 10 to 20 minutes so that the product is completely absorbed into the skin.
- After removing the mask, wash your fingers with a small amount of hand soap and water.
- Dry with a towel and place on the plastic insert inside the container.
For best results, the brand recommends daily use, but results depend on which serum you choose to wear with them. According to Dieux, formulas with glycerin can provide an immediate effect with more dramatic results visible in four to eight weeks. Niacinamide benefits can also be seen in four to eight weeks, while peptides can take eight to 12 weeks. (Auracle Eye Serum is made from all three ingredients.)
Expert advice!
Do a patch test of the mask and your skin care product before using it on your eyes.
How we tested the Dieux Forever eye mask
To test the Dieux Forever Eye Mask, I used it several times a week for four weeks, usually in combination with the Auracle Eye Serum. I used the mask according to the brand’s instructions and followed the instructions for cleaning after each use. The brand recommends using them every day for best results, but I wore them three to four times a week and was still impressed with the results.
During testing, I was particularly interested in the effectiveness of the serum for the eye area with the mask, so I compared possible significant differences when using the serum for the eye area without the mask. I also took into account the clarity of the instructions, the ease of use of the eye mask and how well it held up after a few weeks of use.

the results
I have always been aware of the bags under my eyes. In fact, I had it for so long that I chalked it up to pure genetics. Well, I was in denial — apparently all I needed was an effective eye serum and regular use of this mask to give my dark circles a dose of TLC.
The results are immediate: I noticed a noticeable difference after just one use of the Auracle Eye Serum with the Forever Eye Mask. That is, the typical dullness, dehydration and puffiness that was typical of my dark circles was no longer there. The area felt hydrated, plump and shiny as soon as I removed the mask. But these are only immediate advantages.
After using this duo regularly for six weeks, my dark circles look smoother than they were very textured before and look more “lively” and brighter than ever. (Okay, maybe not ever, but the first time in a long time for the 31-year-old.)
Is Dieux Forever Eye Mask Worth It?
Is Dieux Forever Eye Mask Worth It? If you rely on under-eye patches to reduce puffiness, the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and dark circles, then it’s absolutely worth it. It costs $25 and is designed to last at least a year if you use it daily. For reference, the cheapest disposable eye masks at Sephora cost $4 a pair, so this eye mask pays for itself after just seven uses.
But what I love most about this eye mask is that it can be paired with almost any under eye skin care product you already have. As a fashion and beauty editor who has amassed a collection of eye serums, creams and gels over the years, the convenience and adaptability of the product itself is worth every penny. In addition, I was able to reap the benefits of daily use of dark circles masks. I used to occasionally grab something while waiting in line at Sephora, but now it’s part of my daily routine—and my dark circles are healthier and happier because of it.
