Ice Spice Teases New Song by Sharing Hilarious Viral Verse and Meme: ‘They Ain’t Even the Fart’

Ice Spice drops his new music.

The rapper, 24, teased what appears to be an unreleased track by sharing an audio clip on social media on Sunday. In addition to giving her fans a taste of new music, the hip-hop star also went viral for pulling one of the song’s funniest, standout lyrics and turning it into a meme.

Taking to Instagram and X (formerly Twitter), Ice posted her own version of the infamous Marijuana-smoking Nintendo character meme with her latest hilarious bar caption: “Bitches think they’re assholes but they ain’t even farts.”

The post also included just over 30 seconds of a previously unheard track.

With a funk-inspired hip-hop beat, the “Deli” rapper kicks off the song with a playful back-and-forth between herself and her frequent producer RIOTUSA. “W— shall I say in the introduction? You want me to say something so bad,” he teases me.

The elegantly produced clip, which plays with psychedelic sounds and the reverberation of Ice’s voice, then segues into her sly yet highly entertaining new verse. “You think you’re a bitch / You ain’t even a fart,” she declares.

In the rest of the verse, the “Princess Diana” artist praises how much she feels like she’s on another level. “I’ll be hard / I’m breaking their hearts, like / Bitches are fast but I’m faster / Bitches are fat but I’m fatter / She might be rich but I’m richer (damn),” the star raps, ending the track’s tease.

In the comments, the hitmaker’s collaborator RIOTUS showed his support, posting several fiery emojis in one response and sharing his excitement over her hilarious new verse in another. “THEY DON’T EVEN FART 💨💯🔥,” he added.

The record producer, who has worked with Ice Spice on each of her solo releases to date, also teased the new track on X. He reshared the “Barbie World” rapper’s post previewing the song on the social platform, adding, “🔥🔥 🔥 🔥.”

While the new music the Grammy-nominated artist has been teasing on Instagram is currently undated, she is expected to release her debut full-length album in 2024. To date, the rapper has only released a string of singles and the acclaimed As..? EP since breaking out in late 2022 with the release of “Munch (Feelin’ U).”

RIOTUSA confirmed in a December interview for Board, however, fans’ patience should pay off this year. “… Look out for new classics with Ice in 2024,” he told the outlet. “We’re working on her debut album as we speak.”

Meanwhile, the Bronx talent is vying for his first ever Grammys, including the coveted award for Best New Artist. She also received three other nominations: Best Pop/Group Duo Performance for teaming up with Taylor Swift on the “Karma” remix, Best Rap Song and Best Song Written for Visual Media for her collaboration with Nicki Minaj off Barbie soundtrack, “Barbie World”.
