Ice Spice Unleashes Braggadocious New Single 'Phat Butt' — Watch the Music Video!

Ice Spice gives its fans another flavor Y2K!

Ahead of the release of her long-awaited debut studio LP, the 24-year-old Bronx rapper is back with the project’s latest single, “Phat Butt,” out Friday, June 21.

The song, which serves as a nod to mentor Nicki Minaj as well as a lyrical reminder of Ice’s rise to stardom, finds the Grammy-nominated MC floating over another RiotUSA beat with a purpose — as she calls herself a “rap bitch on the pop charts.”

“Bitch, you know you ain’t like that, post a pic and he’ll love it. Fat ass with a tattoo on my back and I was bad as Mike Jack,” Ice snarls on the boastful piece, set to mark her July 26 album opener .

The crossover appeal the musician (real name Isis Gaston) boasts on her latest song has earned her four career top 10 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 and — as she mentioned on “Phat Butt” — a handful of Grammys. “We went from four lines to a four-time Grammy nominee, literally,” she says in the song’s interlude.

Along with the song, Ice released her music video on Friday, which features her rocking an orange bob, standing in front of some graffiti and twerking — only fitting for a song called “Phat Butt.”

The latest single arrives as Ice prepares to embark on his inaugural headlining tour, Y2K! The world tour, which kicks off with some international festival appearances in early July before Ice heads to the US in Washington, DC on July 30. The concert series, which concludes in Miami Beach at the end of August, includes additional performances by Cash Cobain and RiotUSA.

Before teaming up with Cash Cobain and Bay Swag for a remix of their hit “Fisherrr” earlier this summer, Ice announced her upcoming debut album in January. At the time, she told PEOPLE that she was “really excited” for fans to hear the new material, adding that she had “really had fun recording it and making the videos.”

Unveiling her album cover — an image of Ice placed in front of graffiti — back in June, the rapper took some time on Instagram to send a shout-out to her legendary photographer, David LaChapelle. “very cute + legendary, he didn’t even charge me because he had a real bitch 💋”, she wrote at the time. “thank you for all the amazing art you’ve posted over the years, this cover means everything to me ❤️”

In addition to her music career, Ice is set to appear in Spike Lee’s next film, a reinterpretation of Akira Kurosawa’s 1963 thriller. High and low starring Denzel Washington.

Y2K arrives July 26 via 10K Projects and Capitol Records.
